History

August 1926 Sangoro Seo founded “Seo Koatsu Flange Partnership Corp.” in Taisho-ku, Osaka City, to produce flange joints.
July 1941 The company was reorganized into “Seo Koatsu Flange Co., Ltd.”
January 1953 The first Japanese production method of fin tubes for heat exchangers is completed, and the company enters the field of heat exchanger manufacturing.
November 1959 The company name was changed to “Seo Koatsu Kogyo Co., Ltd.”
December 1962 Opened the “Tokyo Office” in Tokyo.
May 1964 Opend “Mikkaichi Works” in Osaka Prefecture.
October 1973 Opend “Ichikawa Works” in Hyogo Prefecture.
August 1982 Wind tunnel testing equipment was installed in Mikkaichi Works, establishing a research and development system related to the performance of fin tubes for heat exchangers.
August 1987 A large-scale CAD system was introduced to “Mikkaichi Works” in order to modernize design processes.
November 1990 A 1500 tons hydraulic forging press was installed in “Ichikawa Works” in order to expand and reinforce business in the field of forging.
December 1990 “Mikkaichi Works” achieved Welding Works Evaluation Level II as defined by the Japan Power Engineering and Inspection Corporation.
June 1993 "Ichikawa Works" was authorized as JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) certifed factory according to JISB2220.
April 1998 “Mikkaichi Works” obtained a Safety Quality License from the Chinese Labor Department based on the Safety Quality Licensing System for Imported Boilers and Pressure Vessels.
September 1998 A large-scale five-side processing machine was installed in “Ichikawa Works” in order to commence three-dimensional processing.
March 2000 Obtained ISO9001 accreditation in “Ichikawa and Mikkaichi Works”.
July 2001 A 500 tons hydraulic forging press was installed in “Ichikawa Works”.
September 2003 Obtained ASME U Stamp accreditation in “Mikkaichi Works”.
July 2004 “Mikkaichi Works” received product accreditation from the Japan Power Engineering and Inspection Corporation.
September 2006 Opened “Kaizuka Works” in Kaizuka City, Osaka Prefecture, in order to commence the assembly and manufacture of large-scale heat exchangers.
April 2007 Obtained ISO14001 accreditation in “Ichikawa works”.
December 2019 Opened “Wakayama Works” in Wakayama Prefecture, and began press work such as cutting and bending steel plates.
